Click on attachments below to view locations in Google Earth or Bing Maps and descriptions of Oregon Horse Camps.

I used the National Geographic TOPO Maps Oregon Edition to create the locations coordinate file. I exported the location coordinates, names, descriptions, directions and contact information to *.KMZ, GPX & KML files. Locations that accept reservations are identified with blue marker flags. When Google Earth and Bing Maps are opened with the associated KMZ/KML file the locations are loaded into temporary locations. The GPX file can be exported to GPS devices or used with National Geographic TOPO Maps Oregon Edition . All of the locations in the pdf file are in the GPX, KMZ and KML files in addition to some locations that are not in the 2005 edition of the Oregon Camp Grounds pdf. Not all of the campsites are labeled on the topo maps so I literally followed the written directions in the Oregon Horse Camp 2005 Edition using the topo maps and Google Earth to get a close approximation to the exact location. My goal is to visit each site and verify the coordinates or obtain verified coordinates from other riders.
